Hello, and welcome to Day 33 of the Lieurance-King Summer Article Challenge.
Here’s today’s tip:
Periodically, review your article reports at www.ezinearticles.com if you are submitting to that directory.
For the last couple of days we’ve been talking about what makes a great resource box.
And now, to see if people who are reading your articles online are clicking on the links in your resource box, you need to periodically review your article reports at www.ezinearticles.com (or at other directories you submit to that provide article reports).
Once a reader has picked up one of your articles to use on his/her own site or in an ezine, you won’t be able to tell how many of his/her readers clicks on the links in your article (at least not from the article reports). But, you can find out how many people who read your article at www.ezinearticles.com clicked on your links.
And that’s important information.
Why?
Because even if you have a great resource box, if no one is clicking on your links that lead back to your website or blog (and to an opt-in box), you probably need to make some changes somewhere along the line.
For example, you might need to change the resource box to make it more inviting to the reader.
But, you might just need to change the title of your article so it attracts the specific readers you are trying to target.
OR, you might need to change the article itself.
So review your article reports right now (while you’re thinking about it) to see if readers are clicking through back to your website or blog like you want them to.
Try it!
